Baking weekend

white chocolate and raspberry barsOver the weekend I decided to bake a few things, because we were going to a friends house for dinner, and I thought it might be nice to bring along dessert. So once again I took out Make, Bake, Love by Lilly Higgins (might as well use the book since I bought it!), and made pecan brownies, white chocolate and raspberry bars, and an old favourite of mine from my childhood - jammy dodgers. Between visiting our friends for dinner, and inviting more friends over the next evening, we managed to eat our way through everything. Of all of them, I think the white chocolate and raspberry bars tasted the best, but that said, the jammy dodgers came a close second. I think I might put the book away for a little while - my sweet tooth is seriously hurting right now!
